Meetings and Programs for 2025-2026
Meetings will start with social time at 6:00 P.M. The meeting will be called to order at 7:00 P.M.
September 9, 2025 – Business meeting only. Summer Challenge, BOM rule explanation and show and tell
October 14, 2025 – Business meeting. Program speaker Val Poitier. Her lecture, Every Quilt Tells a Story, is a mesmerizing talk about her path, design process and construction of quilts that speak to us.
November 11, 2025 – Business meeting. Program speaker Michelle Banton. If MacGyver was a Quilter, she takes us room by room through our house to identify 75+ common household items that are quilting hacks. https://www.littlepupdesigns.com/

December 9, 2025 – Starting at 6pm holiday social and potluck dinner
January 13, 2026 – Business meeting. DIY Trunk Show Membership. Each member can bring up to 3 quilts to show. They can be quilts you have shown before in a Show and Tell. Something memorable and meaningful to you, something with a story, your choice. Not required to participate but we all love a trunk show, so why not.
February 10, 2026 – Business meeting. Demo Stations TBD. Do you have an idea or technique to share? Let us know while we firm up the details.
March 10, 2026 – Business meeting. Program speakers Bonnie B/Kathy D on Scrap Therapy. We all have scraps. Some small and some large. As thrifty New Englanders we cannot throw them away so let’s see how we can use them.
April 14, 2026 – Business meeting. Program speaker Karen Salemi. Where Tradition Meets Improv will allow us to experience the best of both worlds. Classic techniques, enhanced by spontaneous, creative touches that bring a fresh and modern flair. https://www.karensalemiquilts.com/
May 12, 2026 – Business meeting. Program speaker Christa N. Our own Christa will again help us to care for ourselves as we indulge our quilting passion with Joint Protection and Body Mechanics

Guild Meeting Cancellation Policy: Guild meetings may be cancelled due to bad weather or lack of facility (i.e., loss of electricity) to ensure the safety of the members and speakers. In such a case, the Guild President will notify the Program Director(s)/Designee to notify the speaker. (If Program Director(s)/Designee cannot be located, the President will notify the speaker.) The President and Board will notify the guild members. All will be notified as soon as the cancellation decision is made. If possible, the Program Director(s) and Board will work with speaker to find a mutually acceptable date to reschedule.
