Baby Quilts for Leominster Hospital & Fitchburg Family Resource Center
We are pleased so many of you made on quilts for the babies and very young “at risk” children.
We have donated 15 quilts to the Leominster Hospital Emergency Center, 40 quilts to the Fitchburg Family Resource Center and one quilt to the NEADS program.
How we did it: We used donated fabric for making quilts using the mystery quilt pattern, or a pattern of your choice. Batting for any of these donated quilts, pre-cut to 45″ x 54″ was also purchased by the guild. The quilts were a part of the Mystery Quilt Show during the September 2015 meeting! Any quilts made for donation were delivered by Andie O.
Thanks to all the members who donated the Block of the Month and to everyone who helped assemble the tops for the baby quilts at the March 2015 Open Sew.
Thank you all so much for supporting these projects!
